Show Me 4-H Wares at State Fair

The 2nd Annual Show Me 4-H Wares booth is accepting applications for young entrepreneurs to sell their 4-H products and services at the State Fair.  Any 4-H member who will have a project on display at the 2008 Missouri State Fair is eligible to apply.

Youth marketing a service (such as photography or babysitting) can do so with an in-person demonstration, pre-made video, or PowerPoint presentation at the booth. Youth selling a product (such handmade soaps or yard games) can bring pre-made items to sell at the booth, and/or take customer orders to fill later.

Youth selected for the booth will sign up to display a half day or full day at the booth on Aug. 9, 10, 11, or 14.

Applications require a thorough description of the product or service, a recommendation from an unrelated adult, and approval of their 4-H Youth Specialist. As many as 20 youth will be selected to sell during the 4 days. Applications are due by July 15th and selected youth will be notified by August 1st.
