2016 Missouri 4-H Quiz Night

COLUMBIA, Mo. — Eighteen teams competed for charity at the 2nd annual Missouri 4-H Foundation Quiz Night, held Friday, Dec. 2, 2016 at Knights of Columbus Hall in Columbia, Mo.

"Thanks to the tremendous support of our 4-H partners and friends, together we raised more than $6,000 for Missouri 4-H," said Rachel Augustine, interim executive director of the Missouri 4-H Foundation.

Alison Copeland, 4-H youth development specialist, welcomed players and challenged teams to test their trivia knowledge and compete in support of Missouri 4-H. The “Clever Clovers of Cooper” took first place for the second year in a row.

Sponsors of the 2nd annual Missouri 4-H Foundation Quiz Night included FCS Financial, Kelli Jo Buettner, Bud and Betty Hertzog, Dr. Ina Linville, Brock and Nancy Lutz, Missouri Geographic Alliance, Mizzou 4-H, Diane Olson, Dr. Linda Scorse and Vivayic, Inc.

Players won prizes donated by 1canoe2, Rachel Augustine, Boone County Senior 4-H Council, Kelli Jo Buettner, Morris Burger, Casey’s General Store, Clay by Tay, Nancy Coleman, FCS Financial, Fretboard Coffee, Tammy Gillespie, Olive Graham, Joan Hickman, Patty Hudnut, Missouri Corn Growers Association, Signs for Special Times, Norma Jean Townley, University Concert Series, Urban Chestnut Brewing Company and Chris Willow.
