Missouri 4-H Alumni Stories

The Missouri 4-H Foundation recently reconnected with 4-H alum, Lori Doran Whitlow. In a letter she wrote to the foundation, she shared many wonderful memories of her time in 4-H.

Dr. Marla Tobin was a 10-year 4-H member in Lafayette County and a 1972 National 4-H Conference delegate. She is a graduate of the University of Missouri and a board-certified physician in family medicine. Marla currently serves as a Missouri 4-H Foundation trustee. We sat down with her for an interview about her experiences as a Missouri 4-H member.

Katie Allen, a Missouri 4-H alum from the Southeast Linn 4-H Club in Marceline, Mo. shares a very personal story about her first bucket calf, Caitlyn Rose.

The seeds for Missouri's first National 4-H Congress Endowment Fund were planted in 1944, when a young Cape Girardeau County farm boy took his first train ride to Chicago.
