Tributes and Memorials
You can recognize and honor a friend or family member while also providing support to the Missouri 4-H Youth Development Program. Tributes and memorials are a good way to remember special people in your life for anniversaries, awards, birthdays, new arrivals, times of sympathy, thank yous, and other special occasions.

Gifts given in this manner are acknowledged in 4–H publications. Recognition of your gift is sent to whomever you designate without reference to the size of the gift.

Tribute and memorial envelopes are available from your local University of Missouri Extension or by contacting the Missouri 4–H Foundation.

Kids Helping Kids
Difficult times and disasters can strike everyone. When times are at their worst, it is nice to know that someone cares and wants to offer help. Kids Helping Kids is a program devoted to helping Missouri 4–H Members and their families in times of need.

Kids Helping Kids provides financial grants to 4–H members who have gone through family emergencies like natural disasters, medical emergencies, or fires.

Coordinated by the Missouri State 4–H Council and the Missouri 4–H Foundation, the fund was started after the Flood of 1993.  The money was used to provide needed relief to families affected by the flood. In 1996 the scope of the fund was broadened to include family emergencies.

The fund consists of contributions from 4–H members, clubs, families, volunteers, and alumni in Missouri. If you would like more information or would like to make a contribution, please contact your local University of Missouri Extension or contact the Missouri 4–H Foundation.

Planned Giving - Supporting 4-H in your Estate Plan
When you make a gift to the Missouri 4-H Foundation through your estate, you continue to provide for quality 4-H youth development programs into the future.

There are four primary ways to include the Missouri 4-H Foundation in your estate plan:

  • A bequest in a trust or will
  • Life insurance beneficiary designation
  • Non-probate transfer
  • Gifts that provide a life income to the donor/charitable annuity

See Planned Giving for details on each option.

Heritage League
The Heritage League honors those individuals who choose to make 4-H a part of their estate plan. The Heritage League enables the 4-H Foundation to publicly recognize donors while providing them an opportunity to enjoy the benefits of membership during their lifetime.

We would be delighted to discuss any of these ways to give that are available to you.  Please contact Don Henderson toll free at 1-800-642-8041 or email at HendersonD@missouri.edu
