Jeff Durbin, 2017 State 4-H Council Alumni Award Recipient

COLUMBIA, Mo. — Officer Jeff Durbin was honored with the 2017 State 4-H Council Alumni Award by the Missouri 4-H Foundation on March 17 in Columbia. Durbin was recognized for his leadership as a 4-H alum and his commitment to the University of Missouri Extension 4-H youth development program.

“On behalf of the State 4-H Council, I am pleased to present Jeff Durbin with the 2017 Missouri 4-H Alumni Award,” said State 4-H Council member Luke Walker. “We are grateful to Durbin for his years of dedicated service as a 4-H member and volunteer.”

Jeff Durbin is a recent graduate of the Missouri State Highway Patrol and currently serves as a Trooper with Troop C in Weldon Springs, Mo.

Growing up, he was a member of the Marion County 4-H program in Monroe City and was chosen to represent Missouri 4-H as a delegate to National 4-H Congress in 2009 and National 4-H Conference in 2010. He served as a regional representative on the State 4-H Council from 2009 to 2011 and as vice president from 2011 to 2012. He is a recipient of the “I Dare You” Award for his 4-H accomplishments and the Missouri 4-H Key Award.

The State 4-H Council Alumni Award was established in 2000 by the State 4-H Council to honor outstanding Missouri 4-H alumni and their significant contributions to 4-H or the State 4-H Council.
