Managing
Groups of Kids
Activities:
The following activities were
presented in the Lesson 4 Instruction. If you have not yet completed them, please do so
now.
Activity
#1
Remind
yourself of a few of the conflict resolution strategies
the next time you meet with your group. Try to use them some time during the meeting. When
you get home, think about if they worked or not, and if there are any other strategies on
the list that might have also worked or worked better than the ones you used.
Activity
#2
Think back to when a kid in
your group acted up. Why do you think they acted that way? Look over this list and decide
if any of these reasons could have contributed to the behavior. How can you reduce the
risk of acting up behaviors in light of this information?
During your next group meeting, try to recall this list when somebody gets into
trouble.
