Missouri Citizenship in Action

June 22-24, 2010 • Ages 14-19 • Jefferson City, MO

This summer, you are invited to come learn how your government works…. from the inside. This event will put you in the action as you train with state legislators, legal staff and journalists to take on their roles! You can choose to be a legislator, judge, or even a reporter covering all the action as it goes down.

Legislators debate and pass bills, lawyers prosecute or defend the accused, judges weigh the merits of cases and make their decisions, while the media reports on it all.

Cast yourself in an exciting new role, work with the experts, and learn what it takes to be successful!
