MFA, Inc. Awards the Western Saddle

For the 17th year, MFA, Inc. has provided a deserving equine Missouri 4-H member, 14 – 18 years old, with a western saddle.  This year, Megan Crudup of Cass County earned first place in the MFA Saddle Award contest. 

Megan is currently enrolled at North East Oklahoma College and participates on the collegiate horse judging team.  Megan has a strong equine background and has represented Missouri 4-H at the National Contest in two separate contest venues.  She was a member of the 4-H Horse Judging team from Cass County and she also won first at state in the Horse Demonstration contest.  To “give back” to the program she served as a volunteer announcer for the state judging contest.      

The saddle was awarded to Megan by MFA Equine Feed Department Chair, Janice Spears, on Saturday, January 26 at the Missouri Equine Council’s annual celebration.  The greatly appreciated saddle is just one example of the complete line of equine products available through MFA; proud sponsor of Missouri 4-H Youth Development programs.
