tiger paw print FULL - Summer Science Extravaganza
Join us this summer for the 2013 Summer Science Extravaganza. Investigate plant genetics through an integration of biology, technology, and DNA science as we learn new ways to extract and analyze plant DNA. Build a stronger understanding of DNA science, genetic engineering, and biotechnology as we investigate: the role of pigments in plants, composting procedures at Bradford Research Farm, and identify career paths which emphasize plant science. Use our cameras to make a video documenting your 4-H camp experience and science learning at Mizzou. The 2013 Science Extravaganza is funded by the Howard Hughes Medical Institute C3 Grant (Dr. Jack Schultz, Lead Investigator).
